MON, May 22 (MExN): Mon District Legal Services Authority (MDLSA) conducted an essay competition on the topic “Climate Change is a Threat” at Government Higher Secondary Mon ‘A’ on May 22.
Altogether 43 students participated in the competition. The first position was bagged by C. Ateih Konyak, second position by Jewang Konyak and third position by Lemya. The winners were awarded with cash prize of Rs. 3000, Rs. 2000 and Rs. 1000 respectively, while certificates were given to all the participants.
Panel of judges for the competition were N. Mannon, Panel Lawyer MDLSA, Dominic Kaiba, Panel Lawyer MDLSA and M. Moba, Panel Lawyer MDLSA.
Earlier, keynote address was delivered by N. Mannon and the programme was chaired by M. Moba.
