Dimapur, April 25 (MExN): Two more legal clinics under the initiative of Mokokchung District Legal Services Authority (MDLSA) were added to Mokokchung District with the opening of Kubolong and Mangkolemba chapter on April 24 and 22 respectively.
In Kubolong, it was inaugurated by Tongdiba Tongpi T. Sangtam, EAC Kubolong. Speaking as the chief guest, Sangtam extended gratitude to the District Legal Services Authority (DLSA) for opening the legal aid clinic and said that it would be beneficial for the people to get justice. He also appealed to the people to avail the services provided by DLSA.
The resource persons at the inauguration were PhuletoYeptho, Secretary MDLSA and JMFC Apong Thongliu, Assistant Public Prosecutor Mokokchung and. I Imkong Jamir, Retainer Lawyer MDLSA.
The presentations were followed by discussion hour, informed a MDLSA press note received here. The MDLSA legal aid clinic in Mangkolemba inaugurated by T. Imtiwapang Aier, ADC, Mangkolemba on Saturday, April 22.
Speaking as the chief guest, Aier lauded the MDLSA for setting up the legal aid clinic at Mangkolemba and expressed hope that the people would benefit and access justice through the legal aid clinic. Aier also discussed on the importance of maintaining law and access to justice.
