Mokokchung, July 29 (MExN): Mokokchung District Legal Services Authority (MDLSA) visited two legal literacy schools to give legal awareness to the students on July 29.

 


 A press release issued by the MDLSA stated that team one, led by Secretary WV Patton along with PL Sentinaro and PLV Wabangtoshi visited Mayangnokcha Government HSS. Secretary WV Patton spoke on functions of legal services while Panel Lawyer, Sentinaro spoke on NALSA (Child Friendly Legal Services to Children and their Protection Scheme 2019). PLV Wabangtoshi spoke on Cyber Crime and Child Abuse followed by an interaction with the Principal and Teacher in-charge. 

 


The second team led by District Project Assistant Mapujungla Pongen with PLVs Molusen and Bendangsenla visited Imsutemjen Higher Secondary School. DPA Mapujungla Pongen gave the key note address while PLV Bendangsenla shared on Consumer Protection Act. PLV Molusen Imchen spoke on Legal Services and Public Utility Services. 

 


In both the school, active interaction was held. A total of seven hundred students along with the school authority and teachers participated on the seminar, the release added.
