Mokokchung District Martial Art Association officials and affiliated members from different combat associations conducted a cleanliness drive at Imkongmeren Sports Complex on October 23.
MOKOKCHUNG, OCTOBER 25 (MExN): The Mokokchung District Martial Art Association (MDMAA) organized a cleanliness drive at Imkongmeren Sports complex and planted tree saplings on October 23.
The social work conducted on the theme ‘defend our body against disease by keeping our surrounding clean’ was held to convey a message to the people about keeping our surroundings clean and hygienic and also to present a clean image of the town as the festive season is fast approaching, a press release issued by MDMMA informed.
Around thirty MDMAA officials and representatives from affiliated Associations participated in the social work. The MDMAA is the parent organization with nine combat associations of different disciplines affiliated to it.
The MDMAA has appreciated all the members who participated in the social works and also encouraged the general public to keep the town clean as the people eagerly awaits the coming of the wedding and Christmas season.
