Mecieno Theyo Swu has announced to contest the upcoming ULB elections from Ward 4-Naga Bazar of Kohima Municipal Council.
Mecieno told The Morung Express that she decided to join election fray with a vision to connect and empower people.
Mecieno, MA in Public Administration/Political Science stated she desire to exercise discretion in decision making and combat inequality in all areas of social, political and economic development.
She spelled that uplifting livelihoods will be her priority.
She encouraged every citizen to give validation to political affairs so that people who are voted to power will strive to usher in all-round development and progressive society.
It is never too late to learn, grow and unite for a change for the betterment of our society, she said.
“Please uphold me in your prayer and support me for a visionary movement,” she pleaded the electorates of Naga Bazar.
