Med camp at Aoyimti conducted successfully

A medical camp held at Aoyimti, Dimapur on July 23 received enthusiastic response with more than 700 people turning out. The camp was initiated by the Longchen Development Welfare Society (LDWS) aided by the HQ 3 Corps, Rangapahar; HQ 6 Sector, Assam Rifles and the 32 Assam Rifles.  

According to the LDWS, the camp was organised for the benefit of Aoyimti village, particularly the elderly and the children. The medical team was led by the Chief Medical Officer of the 32 AR, Lt. Col. (Dr.) Rajesh Kumar with specialists from the District Hospital, Dimapur assisting. Nurses from the Sub-Centre, Aoyimti also assisted the nurses from the AR.  

The LDWS later informed that a total of 387 people were treated while prescription drugs, supplied by the AR, were handed away to the patients free of cost. While lauding the 32 AR, HQ 3 Corps, HQ 6 Sector and the medical personnel, the LDWS said that CSD outlet was opened for the benefit of the villagers while the 32 AR served lunch to those who attended. Commander, HQ 6 Sector, AR, Brig. Brijesh Dhiman also attended the camp and interacted with the villagers.
