Kohima, October 5 (MExN): Modern Higher Sec School, Kohima in collaboration with Urban Planning Health Centre (UPHC) Porterlane, Dzüvürü, Kohima organised a medical camp. The camp aimed to promote health awareness and provide basic medical assistance to the students and staffs.
Dr Aomeren Longkumer, Medical Officer, UPHC shared a talk on Adolescent health with the students of class 3 to 10. He highlighted about the positive and negative habits to which a person tends to get indulged to during their adolescent stage.
A session on menstrual hygiene for the girl’s students of class 5 to 10 was also conducted by Odonglemla Ao, Staff Nurse, UPHC to make them aware of menstrual health.
Further, various health screening tests were conducted, including blood group testing, blood sugar, blood pressure, hemoglobin etc.
