Doctors, nurses and ZHA members during the free medical check-up and awareness camp held in Tening village.

PEREN, OCTOBER 2 (MExN): The Zeliangrong Heraka Association (ZHA), in collaboration with Janjati Vikas Samiti Nagaland, organised a free medical check-up and awareness camp in memory of Late Pautanzanji Newmai, former General Secretary of Zeliangrong Heraka Association, North East India (NEI).
The camp was conducted on September 29-30, at Tening village and Nsong town under Peren district, Nagaland, and was hosted by the Tening Village Council and Nsong Town Council. A total of 509 patients availed health services during the two-day multidisciplinary medical camp.
The team of medical professionals included: Dr Kewithingwangbo, General Surgeon and Associate Professor, AIIMS Guwahati; Dr Ranguanjienglungle, Assistant Professor, Obstetrics & Gynaecology, Jorhat Medical College; Dr Keyikawangbo, Orthopaedic Specialist, Guwahati Medical College; Dr Kairidibo, MBBS, MD, CISHR Hospital, Chümoukedima; Dr Pauzieleubo, Dental Surgeon, Dimapur and Dr Ramwile, BDS, MDS, Vananchal Hospital, Ranchi.
The camp provided general health check-ups, including blood pressure, blood sugar and oxygen-pulse rate tests. Essential medicines were distributed free of cost.
The Chief Medical Officer, Jalukie, and the Medical Officer, Tening, extended full cooperation and support for the successful conduct of the camp.
