Peren, January 27 (DIPR): Commissioner & Secretary Health & Family Welfare, M. Patton IAS inaugurated the MO office at Peren Headquarter on 27th January 2016. After unveiling the monolith M.Patton addressed the gathering where he stressed on the importance of Medical Department stating that we should not perform for the sake of performance as we deal human lives. He also said that with the inaugural of the new office building we should also renew our commitment for the people. It is not only for the department but for the whole people of the district so everything should be utilised and taken good care for the best interest of the people.
DC Peren, Peter Lichamo in his short speech congratulated the CMO and the Department and also said that sincere officer in this transitional period is really an asset to the district. He expressed happiness that another building coming up here means another department functioning very actively.
Principal Director, H&FW, Dr. Nandira Changkija who also spoke on the occasion urged the people to take care of the property to serve the public in the best way. We need understanding, co-ordination & co-operation for the benefit of all, she said while referring to many land owner problems in the State.
The programme was chaired by Dr. Ngangshimeren, CMO Peren and dedicatory prayer by Namregong, Pastor New Peren Village. A brief report was given by Dr Khriezetuo, Deputy Director, NHM. Vote of thanks was delivered by Dr. Tiala Longkumer, Deputy CMO Peren.
The chief guest was accompanied by Dr M. Kithan Director. Dr John Seyieuisa Additional Director, Dr Tsen Thungo Joint Director and Dr Puse Liegiese Deputy Director. After the function the chief guest left for Old Peren town to inaugurate X-ray machine at District Hospital Peren.
