Medziphema, June 18 (DIPR): The coordination meeting of Medziphema sub-division was held on June 15 at VFATI chaired by ADC Medziphema, Sara S Jamir. During the meeting, CDPO office Medziphema and Veterinary Field Assissant Training Institute Medziphema presented their respective departmental activities.
While sharing the department activities, the CDPO highlighted the objective programmes and structures under social welfare. He also shared the package of service scheme like the Integrated child Development Service (ICDS) which is one of the flagship programmes initiated by the government of India besides the objectives of Supplementary Nutrition program (SNP) and Kishore Shakti Yojana( KSY).While the department of VFATI highlighted the aims and objectives of cattle breeding farm, goateed farm, chick rearing centre, pig breeding centre and regional rabbit breeding centre.
The VFATI also talked about the need of proper infrastructure and proper upgradation of poultry farm. In the meeting, talks about power supply, shifting of new market complex, land encroachment and road work also pondered upon. It was decided that the next department co- ordination meeting will be held at ADC’s office on July 17.
