Kiphire, January 29 (DIPR): Meeting on account of election activities was convened on January 23 in Kiphire district. The meeting, attended by political parties, administrative officers, election official and BLOs, was chaired by Kumar Ramnikant, IAS, Additional Deputy Commissioner and Electoral Registration Officer, Kiphire. The house discussed the issues relating to Electoral Roll, SVEEP Campaign and poll preparedness for the forthcoming Nagaland Legislative Assembly Election, 2018. During the meeting, the political parties requested the District Administration to exempt the requisitioned vehicles which belong to the political parties and apex tribal bodies. Political parties also requested to tighten the security arrangement. Teetav Rao and Kuldeep Kumar Sarsar from Election Commissioner of India asked for cooperation of the political parties to create awareness among the electors about VVPAT and EVM.
