Mokokchung: Mokokchung district review meeting of all the programme officers, senior medical officers, medical officers, and NRHM and DAPCU staffs of the district was held at IDSP Hall, IMDH Mokokchung on March 5.
Dr. SS Akaba Longchar, Chief Medical Officer, Mokokchung chaired the programme. The meeting started with a welcome address from CMO Mokokchung. Dr. Kibang Deputy CMO Mokokchung highlighted about the coming NIDA meeting in Kohima and read out the name of doctors detailed to attend this meeting representing the district. He also announced the names of the new NIDA representatives of Mokokchung districts. All the programme officers of the district presented the performance and activities of their respective programme.
Dr. John Joint Director RCH, Dr. Kika Deputy Director NRHM and Athali JSY/JSSK coordinator from DHFW Kohima attended the meeting. The Joint director talked on RCH activities and enhanced proper health care delivery system. Dr. Kibang Deputy CMO gave a detailed power point presentation of the performance in the district. He also stressed on improvement of delivery points in the health unit basing on poor performance as regards to conduct of delivery in the health units.
Athali explained in detail about the JSY/JSSK activities, its utilization and timely submission of reports and SOE’s. In a brief discussion on poor performance of different health activities in the district the main reason was found out to be absent and keeping proxy workers. The meeting concluded with a vote of thanks from the CMO.
