Dimapur, October 22 (MExN): The Nagaland Foothills Road Coordination Committee (NFHRCC) has announced the postponement of its scheduled joint meeting with officials from the Nagaland Public Works Department (NPWD on October 23.
In a statement, the NFHRCC informed all committee members and the member tribal Hohos it was postponement is due to the absence of the Commissioner and Secretary of the NPWD, who is currently out of station.
However, the concerned department had agreed, in principle, to sign a tripartite agreement to ensure joint monitoring and transparent execution of the works, as urged by the NFHRCC, it said. Expressing regret over the postponement, the committee stated that it would inform members of the new meeting date as soon as it is scheduled.
