ANTA, Phek Unit annual picnic cum meeting DIMAPUR, NOVEMBER 16 (MExN): All Nagaland Taxi Association (ANTA), Phek Union has informed that there will be an annual picnic-cum-meeting on November 18, 2017. In this connection, every owner and members have been urged to attend the said picnic cum meeting. No taxi under ANTA, Phek unit would be allowed to ply on the said day, a press note issued by Wemhelo, president, ANTA and Vepo Tenenu, general secretary, ANTA Phek Unit stated. ANTA Wokha Unit raising day cum picnic WOKHA, NOVEMBER 15 (MExN): All Nagaland Taxi Association (ANTA) Wokha unit Raising Day cum Annual Picnic will be held on November 18 at Santsuphen near Longsa village. All the taxi drivers and owners have been requested to attend the event. The unit in a press release from its general secretary, Lipenthung Ovung also informed that no taxi will be allowed to ply on that particular day and warned that any members violating the norms of the association will be penalized. DCC coordination meeting DIMAPUR, NOVEMBER 16 (MExN): A coordination meeting of the presidents of all the 11 District Congress Committee (DCC) will be held on November 21, 2017 at Hotel Millennium, Kohima. Therefore, all the DCC presidents are requested to attend the coordination meeting without fail, a press release issued by DCC Kohima president Kevi Vizo stated. PCCI to conduct social work on Nov 27 DIMAPUR, NOVEMBER 16 (MExN): The Phek Chamber of Commerce and Industries (PCCI) have informed all its members that a mass social work would be conducted on November 27, 2017 from 7am to 10 am. The social work will include cleaning of respective shutter/door, surroundings and decorating of shop and compulsorily putting up of commercial signboard and CFL/LED bulb in all respective shops. For convenience of customers, the PCCI has also requested the business members to open their shop till 5pm during the festive season. Plastic bags will be banned with effect from November 30, 2017 and therefore all members have been requested to use only newspapers or paper bags for commercial use, the press release stated. RJD statewide general meeting DIMAPUR, NOVEMBER 16 (MExN): The Rashtriya Janata Dal Nagaland has convened a statewide general meeting on November 18 at 10 am in the residence of state RJD president, Khetovi Kinny. All the office bearers, executive members, women wing and youth wing have been informed to attend the meeting.
