Hindi Diwas in Dimapur
All Nagaland Hindi Teachers’ Union (ANHTU), Dimapur unit is celebrating 23rd district level Hindi Diwas on September 14, 11:00 am at HSSPK Burma Camp, Dimapur with SDEO of Dimapur, T Kiyelu Yepthomi as chief guest. The unit has requested all the Hindi Teachers serving in both Government and private schools under Dimapur district to attend the occasion without fail. Teachers’ attendance will be taken, it was informed.
AYO presidential council meeting
The Angami Youth Organization (AYO) has convened its presidential council meeting on September 14, 11:00 am at APO Hall, Kohima. Informing this in a release, the AYO General Secretary, Rokoketou Sechu has requested all the office bearers of the four regions and the presidents and secretaries of every Angami village to attend the meeting positively.
NBS&G Golden Jubilee Organising Committee
A meeting of the Nagaland Bharat Scouts & Guides Golden Jubilee Organising Committee will be held on September 15, 5:00 pm at the residence of Parliamentary Secretary for YRS, MTF & State Lotteries and President NBS&G, Khriehu Liezietsu. All the Committee members have been requested to attend the meeting.
Royal Club Kohima general meet
The first general meeting of Royal Club Kohima hosted by Dr Nicky Kire, Minister for Forest, will be held at his residence at Seikhazou, Kohima on September 16 at 5:30 pm. Raising Day, Annual Raffle Draw and formulation of Year Plan are among other agenda to be deliberated at the meeting. All members have been requested to attend the same positively.
Tseminyu SDPDB meet
The monthly Tseminyu SDPDB meeting will be held on September 16, 11:00 am at ADC conference hall, Tseminyu. EAC Tseminyu, Shelley Katiry has informed all the members to attend the meeting without fail.
KSUK Freshers Meet-cum-Cultural Day
The Khiamniungan Students’ Union Kohima (KSUK) will hold its 20th Freshers Meet-cum-Cultural Day on September 17, 10:00 am at State Academy Hall. P. Longon, Health Minister will be the chief guest and Aneu Khaming, Chairperson, Nagaland Hotel Limited will be the guest of honour for the first session, while Mulai, Deputy Director, Art & Culture will be the special guest for the second session. Unregistered Khiamniungan students residing in hostels and with other families may do their registration on the same day, informed a press release from KSUK Information Secretary, Meshang. All KSUK members and well wishers have been invited to the event.
Visit from Chhattisgarh Legislative Assembly
The Committee on Public Accounts of Chhattisgarh Legislative Assembly comprising of the chairman with six members, three spouses of the members accompanied by six officials will be on a visit to Kohima from September 19 to 21. The visiting committee will have a joint meeting on September 20, 11:00 am with the counterpart committee of the Nagaland Legislative Assembly and also visit places of interest. This was informed in a press release issued by Additional Secretary, K Sekhose.
CEAF exam for Dimapur
Deputy District Education Officer, Dimapur has informed that Children Education Assistant Fund (CEAF) exam will be held on September 24 at GHSS Dimapur, Half Nagarjan. All the candidates have been asked to come and collect the admit card on or before September 20 during office hour.
