Kohima, April 29 (MExN): A mega Legal Services Camp organized by the Nagaland State Legal Services Authority and Longleng District Legal Services Authority in collaboration with government departments and stakeholders will be held at Local Ground, Longleng on May 1, 9:00 am onwards.
The camp activities will include real time registration of beneficiaries in central and state government welfare schemes, exhibition/presentation on welfare legislation and schemes by core departments, free distribution of legal literature, booklets and pamphlets on basic laws, legislation and welfare scheme. There will be panel legal counseling and legal assistance and display of NALSA documentaries and theme.
The departments/stakeholders to participate in the mega camp are: Health and Family Welfare; Labour; Postal; Social Welfare; Industry and Commerce; Public Health Engineering; Rural Development; Soil and Water Conservation; Irrigation and Flood Control; Land Resources; Cooperative, Food & Civil Supplies; Forests, Ecology, Environment and Wildlife; Sericulture; Agriculture; Fisheries; Horticulture; Veterinary and Animal Husbandry; Traffic; Transport; State Bank of India; Agricultural Technology Management Agency; Nagaland Parents' Association for Disabilities; Nagaland State Disaster Management Authority.
