Phek, November 25 (MExN): The Catholic Church of Meluri distributed relief to Lephori Village under Meluri Sub-Divion under Phek District on November 23 whose fields were destroyed by incessant rains.
The Development Association of Nagaland, official organ of Social Activities of the Catholic Church in Nagaland with the support of diocese of Kohima and the Goonj which is an NGO collected relief materials from various agencies.
A press release stated that the relief materials were distributed to 157 families under the supervision of the representative of Goonj Romen Ningthoujam and Rev Fr Jose Lukose, Parish Priest of St Xavier Parish Meluri.
