VFA entrance exam result postponed Kohima, July 20 (MExN): The Directorate of Veterinary & Animal Husbandry has informed that the 26th batch VFA entrance examination result scheduled to be declared on July 21 has been postponed. The result could not be declared due to some technical reasons, according to a press release issued on the directive of Dr. R Thungchamo Ezung, Director, Veterinary & Animal Husbandry. DMC cautions against using non-biodegradable poly bags Dimapur, July 20 (MExN): The Administrator of Dimapur Municipal Council (DMC) today pointed out that many business establishments/ shop keepers/ commercial vendors are still using/selling non-biodegradable poly bags in violation of the DMC orders. In this regard, the Administrator, H Atokhe Aye once again asked all the shopkeepers/ business establishments within the DMC jurisdiction to stop such illegal practice. Anybody found using any form of non-biodegradable poly bags other than 40 microns or above will be penalized with fine followed by seizure of stock as well as other legal course of action, which may lead to cancellation of trade license, the release cautioned. ANGPTA Mon Unit formed Mon, July 20 (MExN): The Primary Teachers of Mon district, irrespective of educational qualifications, nature of appointment, held a meeting on July 15 at DRDA conference hall, Mon and unanimously decided to form the All Nagaland Government Primary Teachers’ Association, Mon Unit to work in coordination with ANGPTA Central office for the common welfare of the all Primary Teachers of Nagaland and to safeguard the interest and welfare of the Primary Teachers of Mon district in particular. In this regard, a nominating committee was selected and entrusted the responsibility to set up the office bearers of the ANGPTA Mon Unit at the earliest, said B. Tingak and W. Panwang, sessional chairman and secretary respectively. A press release issued by Imchanuchet Jamir, Press and information Secretary, ANGPTA informed that around 200 Primary Teachers attended the meeting.
