Dimapur, April 4 (MExN): The Benreului Kangbau Dimapur, (BKD) Nagaland has convened an emergency meeting on April 6, 2011 at the residence of Mr & Mrs Paukwerangbe Reunim, Burma Camp Dimapur at 8:00 am sharp. Therefore, all the executive members of BKD are requested to attend the said meeting without fail.

Dimapur, April 4 (DIPR): The Deputy Commissioner, Mon has informed that application are invited from desiring candidates for five posts of LDA cum Computer Assistant, two posts of Dobashi, one post of Driver and one post of Peon, under the establishment of DC Office Mon. The last date for submission of application is April 12 and the written test for LDA cum Computer Assistant will be held on April 18, 2011. The interview for all the above mentioned post will be held on April 19, 2011. Dimapur, April 4 (MExN): The Dimapur Sumi Students’ Union (DSSU) has convened a joint meeting on April 5, 201 at 10:30 am, at Nagaland Science Centre, Super Market Dimapur. A press note issued by H. Toniho Achumi, DSSU president has therefore informed that all the executive members, colony/sector representatives to attend the meeting positively.
Free Laparoscopic operation camp
Kohima, April 4 (MExN): A team of doctors, nurses and supporting staff led by Dr. Kezevituo Keditsu has conducted a free Laparoscopic Operation Camp from March 25 to 26 at Phek. The camp was sponsored by Rotary Club Kohima and Putunuo Nursing Home, Kohima. Altogether, 18 major Laparoscopic surgeries were performed with latest Laparoscopic operation equipments. This was stated in a release issued by Dr. Tia Jamir, medical superintendent, District Hospital, Phek.
NSEAOA emergency meeting
Kohima, April 4 (MExN): The All Nagaland School Education Administrative Officers’ Association (NSEAOA) will hold its emergency meeting on April 7 at 11:30 am at the Conference Hall of the Directorate of School Education, Kohima. All the members, officers from assistant headmaster have been requested to attend the meeting positively. No separate calling letter will be issued, according to a release issued by the Association general secretary R. Ekonthung Lotha.
NUVC elects new council members
Dimapur, April 4 (MExN): The Naga United Village Council election was held where new council members were appointed for the tenure 2011 to 2014. A press note issued by Deo Krome, secretary NUVC Dimapur stated that the new team which comprises of 19 members would be headed by Kuthoku Shijon (Bole) and Deo Krome, chairman and secretary respectively.

Dimapur, April 4 (MExN): Quarterly Medical Board for confirmation/invalidation and commutation pension for Grade-III and IV Staff (Non Gazzetted) under Dimapur District is to be held on April 14 & 15, 2011 at 10:00 am in the office of the Chief Medical Officer, Dimapur. All the Heads of Department under Dimapur district are requested to intimate the name and particulars of the intending candidate with the purpose for which he/she is desiring to appear before the Board to this office within seven days of the scheduled date. Dimapur, April 4 (DIPR): All the members of the District Level Control on Tobacco Control is being informed that the consultative meeting which is to be held on March 23, 2011 is re-scheduled to April 7, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. in the office chamber of the Deputy Commissioner Kohima. The meeting is to be held in connection with violation of the main provisions of the Indian Tobacco Control Act 2003. The following members have been requested to attend the meeting positively: Deputy Commissioner Kohima, Superintendent of Police Kohima, Director, Higher Education Kohima, DPRO Kohima, Drug & Food Inspector Kohima, Director Kekhrie Foundation Kohima and Principal Kohima College, Kohima.
