Dimapur, December 13 (MExN): The 1st Annual Sports Meet of MGM College, Dimapur was held from December 11 to 13. It was a 3- days fun filled sports meet held at MGM College campus at SEWAK ground and MGM Hr Sec School ground respectively.
Rev.Fr Shibu Varghese, Principal of the college, inaugurated the opening ceremony. He inspired the students to take part in the activities with sportsman spirit and discipline. Thereafter, events of the day start with students actively participating in various events. The oath taking ceremony was led by Karan Dholi of BA 2nd Semester.
On the second day, all athletic events were conducted at SEWAK ground where, Dinesh Chandra, Camp commander SEWAK was the Chief Guest. He also handed over the prizes to the participants at the end of the day and encouraged the students.
On the third day, volleyball, basketball and badminton matches were conducted at MGM Hr Sec School campus. The trophy for the leading House was bagged by Red house.
