Dimapur, November 15 (MExN): MGMHSS celebrated Children’s day cum school annual day on November 14 with students of Nursery to Higher Secondary classes presenting a variety of cultural programmes. Fr Dr PS Varghese, Principal delivered the keynote address, where he enlightened the students, teachers and parents about the history and importance of the day. He reminded the gathering that “Growing old is mandatory but growing up is optional. One has to keep the qualities of child when he grows physically. Children are pure in heart that has to keep throughout the life.” MGM teachers performed special programme for the students MGMHSS Media Cell in a press release stated that during the event, students of Class Nursery to 8 toppers of second term examination were felicitated with Late KV Ponnan (founder member of the school) Meritorious Scholarship, organized by MGOS Church and St. Thomas mission society. Christina Memorial Hr Sec School celebrated Children’s Day cum Parents’ Day on November 14. The programme started with the tiny tot performance. The Chief Patron of the School O Alem, IPS Retd delivered exhortation which was followed by special song for the children sung by the teachers.
