Dimapur, September 24 (MExN): MGMHSS organized a science cum arts exhibition on September 24. Students made innovative projects under the leadership of science teachers of the school.
In the morning assembly, Fr. PS Varghese, Principal inaugurated the exhibition. He reminded the students about the importance of Science in day to day life. In the post modern era science education has got its own importance in human life. He also emphasized the importance of science education in the school level. “Knowingly or unknowingly students have developed a mental block towards Science and Mathematics in this part of the country, one has to overcome this fear psychosis to develop interest in these subjects,” stated the Principal in his speech.
It was further stated in a press release that around 28 science and arts exhibition pavilions were displayed from students of classes 5 to 12. Students from class 1 to 12 visited each pavilion along with their class teachers and were excited by the working models made by their fellow students.
