Dimapur, November 15 (MExN): MGOS (Mar Gregorios Orthodox Syrian) Church located at Midland, Dimapur celebrated feast of Parumala Thirumeni, its patron saint on November 12 and 13. On November 12 evening, a procession was conducted from the church to PWD junction to cross tower, where around 300 people from the Malayalee community of Dimapur participated with prayer. On November 13 morning, a special mass was celebrated by H.G. Mathews Mar Theodosios, Archbishop of Idukki (Kerala), Diocese of Indian Orthodox Church. After the Holy Mass, a public meeting was organized, where Arjuna Award winner and former Indian football team players I.M. Vijayan and C.V. Pappachan were honoured. Fr. P.S. Varghese, Vicar welcomed the gathering, while Shobin Philip proposed vote of thanks.
