Mhathung Yanthan holds Janata Darbars in Sanis AC

Dimapur, June 24 (MExN): MLA 39 Sanis AC and Advisor, Department of Horticulture Mhathung Yanthan undertook an official tour of his constituency conducting Janata Darbars (Public Interaction) accompanied by officials from the district administration and various departments.  

The team visited the following villages: Pangti, Sungro, Ashaa, Sunglup, Yonchgucho, Sanis Village, Meshangpen, Tsopo, Morakjo, Longtsung, Chudi, Lotsu, Pyangsa, Moilan and Pyotchu.  

The Advisor, on the second leg of his official tour, visited almost every village under his constituency engaging with people and sensitizing them about the various schemes and the functioning of the government offices in their respective areas and also ascertaining their problems, wishes and aspirations, stated a press release received here.  

He also engaged with the public on the working of the schools, health and angandwadi centres under the villages and further inquiring about the water and electricity woes.  

The accompanying officers also informed and cleared queries relating to “developmental gaps” with regard to their respective departments.  

During the interactions, the general complaints were about bad road, non-presence of teaching and medical staffs in their respective work stations, lack of staff quarters of various departments and lack of proper water supply.

In some of the villages, communication gap between the village council authority and the concerned departments were also pointed out and the informed village authorities were made aware of the actions to be taken up.  

The final day of the tour culminated with a review and update meeting at the SDO (C) Office, Sanis chaired by the SDO Roko Noudi. During the meeting, the Advisor addressed the officers for future coordination and engaged with the officers in discussing the various departmental limitations facing the departments under the sub division in carrying out their duties.  

The meeting concluded with a vote of thanks by EAC Sanis Renbi James.
