Dimapur, December 11 (MExN): A children’s book, authored by Moanaro Imchen titled ‘Mihenc’s Family and the Christmas Cake’ was released this evening at the Aoyimkum Baptist Church, Dimapur by ABC pastor I Temsu Aier.
This is the second book authored by Moanaro Imchen, a full time church worker, serving as Christian Education Director at Kumlong Baptist Church, Mokokchung. The author is also a music teacher, a motivational speaker, a reader and also a resource person for Children Ministry.
Speaking after formally releasing the book – Mihenc’s family and the Christmas cake – Pastor I Temsu Aier congratulated the author for successfully publishing her second book. He said that the talent of writing is one of the best God given gifts and expressed happiness at the author for using her talent in writing a children book. He further expressed great hope that many souls would be blessed after reading the book. He also expressed hope that the author would continue to write many more books in the days to come.
The author, Moanaro Imchen, while speaking at the programme, expressed happiness to all those who attended today’s book release function. She said that she wrote the book as part of her mission for Children’s Ministry. She expressed her desire to convey the message about the true meaning of Christmas. Christmas is all about love, sharing and sacrifice towards one another, she said while adding that the book revolves around young girl Ana, a good hearted nine years old who always wants to help others. The children’s book is about Christmas, about the joy of sharing and all about being a good Christian.
