Our Correspondent Kohima | January 11 Nagaland has got substantial mineral deposits which when fully explored and properly developed, will boost the economy of the state. This was stated in an annual administrative report of Nagaland State Mineral Development Corporation Ltd (2014-15). The report stated that many of the discovered minerals are still remaining unexplored and underdeveloped because of lack of road. The NSMDC has already taken up the construction of three mineral link roads from 2008-09 and onwards. Some of the important mineral link roads proposed to be taken up with the funding under NLCPR included; Molen village Limestone deposit (10 km), Pungro Pokphut Magnetic deposit (28 Km) and Choklangan to Wui (18 km).
