Dimapur, November 18 (MExN): In continuation of its earlier press release regarding introduction of mini-bus services, the Regional Transport Authority (RTA), Dimapur has resolved to invite interested individual/group to apply for the same on or before November 30, 2017. This decision was taken at a meeting of the RTA held on November 13 under the chairpersonship of Deputy Commissioner & Chairperson RTA.
The criteria for the application, according to a press release from Lovikali Yepthomi, District Transport Officer & Secretary, RTA Dimapur, are:
- Application should be submitted to District Transport Office (DTO) Dimapur for issue of Assurance certificate.
- Address proof to be enclosed (anyone) – Voters ID card/ Aadhaar card/ light bill/ phone bill/ present address proof from concerned colony/village chairman.
- Applicant should hold valid driving license.
- To produce new unregistered bus.
- Mini bus to be painted in royal blue with a white strip in the middle.
- Route permit to be displayed on the top of the windshield and on both side of the bus body.
- Conductor should hold a valid conductor’ license.
- To operate bus service as per the route permit.
- To abide by the rule & regulations laid by the Regional Transport Authority, Dimapur in accordance to CMV Acts & rules.
