Tseminyu, February 21 (MExN): Mini Legal Services Camp, organized by Nagaland State Legal Services Authority for Kohima District in collaboration with various Government departments was held at Tseminyu town hall on February 21.
According to a DIPR report, ADC Tseminyu Nokchasashi Kichu delivered the welcome address of the program in which ADC appreciated and thanked the Kohima District Legal Services Authority for conducting the camp program at Tseminyu through which people would surely benefit, he said. ADC also encouraged public to avail opportunity.
In the program, Phuleto Yeptho NJS, Chief Judicial Magistrate and Secretary, Kohima District Legal Services Authority (KDLDA) while delivering his introductory words of the purpose camp being conducted on the day, also said about the much needed of legal aid for downtrodden people.
Limasenla Longkumer, Project Coordinator, NSLSA gave brief presentation and said that the purpose is to let people know their rights for support as well as benefits to availed from public welfare departments.
Limasenla also informed the gathering to attend a Mega Legal Services Camp to be conducted at Kohima on February 23.
Free Affidavit registration and Birth certificates were issued by public notary on the day long programme. Various department officials, public of Tseminyu town and its adjoining villages attended the program.
