Nagaland Minister for Soil & Water Conservation, Geology & Mining, NSMDC Ltd, V Kashiho Sangtam called for a press conference on ‘Seva, Sushasan Aur Gareeb Kalyan Parv’ to highlight various successful flagship programmes and schemes launched and implemented under PM Modi government.
Addressing the press conference at his official residence on June 7, the minister said that joining the rest of the country, Nagaland state BJP launched ‘Seva Sushasan Aur Gareeb Kalyan Parv’ in Dimapur on June 1. Besides other activities, he informed that in future, visiting orphanage homes and old age homes are also in the pipeline to be taken up on alternate days across the State.
Stating that the objective of the programme is to showcase various developmental activities under the PM, bike rally will be organised in Mokokchung and Mon districts in coming days.
They will also visit Mon Medical College, ERMS Mokokchung and Astro Turf Tuensang to highlight important developmental achievement in the field of education, medical and sports.
As part of upliftment of the poor, Kashiho said the party workers will reach out to the beneficiaries of PM health card holders, ration card holders, kisan card holders, benefactor of free cylinders, and housing for all. He said state Minority Morcha is also scheduled to hold its outreach programme in Kohima and other districts on June 7 and 8 respectively.
He informed that Department of Health & Family Welfare under the initiative of Minister Pangyu Phom will conduct free medical camp in all districts of Nagaland where free medical check up and free distribution of medicine to the needy. Kashiho also highlighted on the ‘Tribal Mela’ in Kohima scheduled on June 15.
