Salhoutuonuo Kruse

Kohima, March 10 (MExN): The Nationalist Democratic Progressive Party (NDPP) Western Angami A/C organised a thanksgiving programme for Salhoutuonuo Kruse, Minister for Women Resource Development & Horticulture, on successful completion of one year in the office on March 7.
Kruse in her speech attributed the electoral success to the people of her constituency. She stated, it is “because of our joint efforts, God has answered our prayers where we won by seven votes and we created history. It is not I, but it was the 8th Western Angami who has created the history.”

On the upcoming Lok Sabha Election, she sought the support and cooperation of the Western Angami region. The Minister also highlighted some of the projects which were soon to be undertaken under the Western Angami region. As their elected representative, she assured to strive for a brighter future, where the community and Nagas can come together to make its collective aspirations become a reality.
President of Women Wing, NDPP A/C, Kazheli Ali Tungoe in her welcome address called for the support and cooperation of all the party workers and strengthen the hands of the Minister and NDPP. Meanwhile Mhiesilhoukho Yalie, President 8th Western Angami congratulated the Minister for completion of one year in the office. Yalie thanked all the members of the 19 units under Western Angami for their constant support and cooperation. He expressed hope that with God's blessings and guidance and the support of the people, it can achieve greater things in the future under the leadership of Minister Kruse.
Earlier, the programme was chaired by Rovilhousie Miasalhou, working president NDPP AC while Pastor Neino Zhotso, Minister's Hill Baptist Church invoked God's blessings.
