KHAGHABOTO, DECEMBER 29 (MExN): Minister for PHED and Cooperation, Jacob Zhimomi, on Saturday addressed the golden jubilee celebrations of the Khaghaboto Area Students’ Union (KASU) at Khaghaboto town.
Congratulating the union on achieving the historic milestone, Zhimomi credited the pioneers of KASU for their legacy and vision, stating that their efforts created a vibrant platform for the exchange of ideas, which in turn fostered renewed consciousness among successive generations of young leaders.
Emphasising the role of youth in nation-building, the Minister said students would have to play an integral role in the journey towards Viksit Bharat, and for this they must equip themselves with the necessary skills and knowledge.
Stressing that character takes precedence over wealth and status, Zhimomi urged students to remain rooted in humility and be receptive to guidance and advice. He also called upon parents and elders to guide their children with strong values and morals in the context of a fast-changing world.
Extending his best wishes to the students, the Minister assured that his office would always remain open to suggestions aimed at ensuring a prosperous and progressive future.
