JALUKIE, JANUARY 3 (MExN): Minstrel band, which was formed in the year 1990 at Jalukie, celebrated the successful completion of 25 years this year and in commemoration of its Silver Jubilee, organized an open air concert with the theme “sober again...” in Jalukie on December 29, 2015.
The programme saw the arrival of people from all age groups, with the band enthralling the jubilant crowd with some of their original numbers and covers of 80s and 90s rock songs. The concert also witnessed the participation of few pioneer bands in the district like Canaries of Peren and Young Gospel Voice of Old Jalukie, as well as the participation of few upcoming bands like Enlight Avenir of Tening and Ecopyros and Panache of Jalukie who displayed young talents and satisfied the crowd with popular pop rock tunes.
The Minstrel band expressed profound gratitude to all the guest bands whose presence immensely inspired and motivated the music lovers in the district, gratitude to citizens of Jalukie who came and blessed the programme with their presence, and to the event managers “Champ-de-world” who successfully managed the event.
