Miss Hornbill International to uplift beauty pageant industry in Nagaland

Launching programme of Miss Hornbill International 2023 was held in Kohima with Imlibenla Wati Neinu former Miss Nagaland and Super Talent World Runner up 2016 as the special guest. 

Flagging off the poster programme on Saturday with the Vogue Entertainment Nagaland and All Nagaland Taxi Association (ANTA), she said the event which is an international event will uplift beauty pageant industry in Nagaland.  

Imlibenla while wishing success for the event lauded the Vogue Entertainment Nagaland for coming up with such event to create and provide bigger platforms for girls and reaching out beyond the border by making the event an international stature. She added that the Vogue entertainment was dedicated, consistent and hardworking towards their pursuit.

said the Miss Hornbill Beauty Pageant was officially announced in the year 2021 and was officially launched today by the Vogue Entertainment Nagaland where the event will take place in December during the Hornbill Festival. 

While speaking about the Vogue Entertainment Nagaland, Keyho said it is an Event Management Organization based in Nagaland State, with a vision to uplift the talented youths in the arena of the Fashion and Beauty Pageant Industry. The group create platforms to groom or train upcoming models, fashion enthusiasts, and promote potential Naga designers. 

“As the arena broadens with successful events over the years, and we see that society is taking more interest in this space of profession, the Organization believes in intensifying our vision by elevating and adding to our events the Miss Hornbill International.” 

She said, as an organization that has been consistent in all our projects, enterprises, and undertakings, we would like to venture this new event here in Nagaland State to create a wider platform not only for Nagas but for everyone across the globe, building relationships amongst regions and countries, thus making it an international event that would be open to participants beyond Nagaland and the Northeast. 

She said that the objective pageant is to promote the cultures and traditions of Nagaland globally, transmitting growth to ethnicity, expanding the pageantry, fashion, and tourism industry, and taking Nagaland beyond. 

Keyho hoped that it will foster long-term policy for pageantry and tourism, promote local artisans, stakeholders in Beauty Pageants, and create global liaison. 

She informed that the Miss Hornbill International will launch a unique Crown that will have the touch of the Hornbill bird and the stature of the current 16 districts of Nagaland. This will be one of the substantial highlights of the mega event.
