Mission Clean Water Body Campaign on January 14

Dimapur, January 10 (MExN): Anglers Association Nagaland (AAN) will conduct Mission Clean Water Body Campaign on January 14 at Chathe River, New Chumukedima Village.  

AAN General Secretary Ricky Ozukum in a press release said that the main objective of the Mission is to help in maintaining integrity and overall health of the water bodies throughout India by launching a cleanliness drive of the freshwater resources along with associated catchment areas spearheaded by the angling community of India. It is an initiative of All India Game Fishing Association (AIGFA).  

Along with the affiliated district units, New Chumukedima Village Council will join the programme by participating in the campaign. AAN has appealed to the people who are willing to join and support the cause in the drive to protect the river systems.  

The programme will start at 9:00 am, New Chumukedima Village with brief introductory function followed by tree plantation, cleanliness drive, banner campaign along the Chathe River stretch.
