Bhandari, May 4 (DIPR): Additional Deputy Commissioner of Bhandari, Tiameren Chang flagged off ‘Mission Friendly Neighbours’ – a one-day tour to Kaziranga National Park, Assam, with the theme ‘Neighbours by Destiny, Friends by Choice’ on May 3 at the ADC office, Bhandari.
Organized by the District Administration, Wokha under the Government of Nagaland and District Administration, Golaghat under the Government of Assam, the mission is an initiative of the Deputy Commissioner of Wokha, Dr. Manazir Jeelani and Deputy Commissioner of Golaghat, Gaurav Bothra with an objective to bring the two border districts closer for better co-ordination and maintenance of peaceful and friendly relations as neighbouring states.
The tour group comprised of leaders from the Lotha Lower Range Public Organisation and Ralan Area Public Organisation and was led by SDO (Civil) Ralan, Kikato Chishi.
