Mission India Bible College convocation exercise held

Dimapur, April 12 (MExN): Mission India Bible College, Thahekhu Block 7, Dimapur held its 9th convocation exercise with the theme ‘Be wise’ on April 12 at its college campus.  

The programme was chaired by Kikali Zhimomi, Lecturer MIBC, while the graduation address was delivered by Rev. P.D. Joseph, Chief Functionary of Mission India Nagpur. Rev. P.D. Joseph encouraged all by saying that God will never stop His work and He will continue to provide all the spiritual, mental and financial needs of His workers because He is faithful and unchanging and He never fails to keep His promise for those who are strong in the faith.  

The College honoured the outstanding students among the graduates and this year the recipients of the awards in various fields were Asao Konyak and Hotoli Zhimo who received the Awards for Academic excellence in M. Div and B. Th respectively, Bonoka Zhimo for Best Preacher Award among the graduates, Maya Pradhan for Best Project Award, Vigil Rongmei for Best Thesis Award, Pennyai Konyak Award for Best Christian living and Latsula Yimchungru for yearly Music Award.  

After the award session, Director MIBC conferred the degree and diploma to the graduates after which they were commissioned through the prayer by Rev. Jonny Tanti, Regional Director North East, MI. Altogether 17 students graduated this year, 8 of them from Bachelor of Theology, 8 from Master of Divinity and 1 from Diploma of Theology. Meanwhile, Sukhaje Zhimo Director MIBC and Principal Ajit extended vote of thanks.
