This allows us to reach out to many more without the constraints of physical and geographical boundaries. We are indeed encouraged to have people from around the globe read about us. As a result we can assure our readers ‘The Best’ in terms of news, feature and photo quality from across the globe.
The Morung Express starts with the deep conviction about our human resource potential. We have been able to tap this pool of talent with the belief in our own capabilities to become a self-reliant society. The newspaper’s content both graphic designs and text presentation, must indeed reflect the creativity that our youths carry. It is hopefully the beginning of a change, of transformation that is truly qualitative and international.
We have tried to become chic/smart in every sense of the word and we want our readers to have ease in reading. The news and other contents are attractively laid out, easier to assimilate and elegantly presented. We will continue to unearth a pool of writers who have smart opinion on issues. Today we are proud to lead this trend for a society of 1 million people.
The paper you hold in your hands is a sincere endeavour of young minds to bring about positive transformation for our society. Last year, idea for a newspaper (now The Morung Express) took birth. Determined to make a break from traditional local newspaper we began the journey for giving life to this idea. We were able to scout for fresh talents in the diverse field of communications; from news reporters, advertising executives, graphic and web designers, office administrators, circulating managers The paper you hold is the result of our young boys and girls who make The Morung Express team. As mentioned earlier, we are also proud of achieving the distinction of being the first newspaper to have a web edition. Other local newspaper will also progressively introduce such a concept. But at The Morung Express, we are proud to be, the paper that leads the rest, that sets the trend and that establishes the standards.
Over the days and weeks ahead, you will have an opportunity to see our other supplements, the Saturday feature paper called Impressions and our unique Friday tabloid AD Bazar. Both the two supplement along with the 12 page daily newspaper will cater to your diverse need for a complete information package.
