Kohima, March 11 (MExN): A one day faculty development programme on research methodology was organized by Research and Development Cell, Modern Institute of Teacher Education, Kohima at the College Auditorium on March 10. The programme was attended by the Faculty members of MITE Kohima and chaired by Asen Longchar, Convenor, Research and Development Cell. It began with a word of prayer by Neingulaü Theünuo.
Dr. B.V.Rao, Assistant Professor, Department of Education, Nagaland University, Kohima campus, the resource person spoke on research methodology. He stressed on the need to create awareness on research and research oriented teacher-educators. He highlighted the different topics on research-nature of research, techniques and tools, importance of review of related literature and different funding agencies to follow up research in India and abroad.
The faculty development programme has enriched the faculty in developing in critical awareness on research methodology. The programme concluded with a word of thanks by Devanand Sinha, Principal, MITE.
