Dr I Wati Imchen, Principal, Fazl Ali College (FAC) released a book on Ao CBCS core paper for BA first Semester at the college on October 14. The book is authored by Dr Lanurenla, Assistant Professor, Department of English, FAC and Repabenla, Assistant Professor, Department of Ao, FAC.
The book has been published to assist the Ao Honours students and contains an anthology of poems with biography of poets and substance of the poems, as well as an essay on folklore and folklife written in the Ao language. It is to be mentioned that Ao Honours was in 2022 under the CBCS Curriculum with the support of the Principal, FAC and the Ao Senden Literature Board.
Dr I Wati Imchen, during the book release congratulated the editors for their achievement and encouraged them to publish more books. He also commented that Ao department should work towards offering post-graduate studies in the near future.
The brief book release programme concluded with a prayer by TemjenTzudir, Secretary, AoSenden Literature Board.
