The Mokokchung Entrepreneurs Consortium (MEC) called on the Nagaland Chief Minister Dr. Shurhozelie Liezietsu who is camping in Mokokchung to attend Moatsü celebration tomorrow with the Ao community, and impressed upon him the scope and opportunities for entrepreneurship development in the district.
The five-member delegation of MEC led by their chairman Tsukti Longkumer also apprised the Chief Minister about the activities of MEC and shared their desire and capacity to promote entrep reneurship in the district.
The entrepreneurs also expressed appreciation to the Government of Nagaland for supporting MEC in the past. MEC also informed the Chief Minister about ‘La Catalyst’, a soon-to-be-launched scheme under MEC Micro Finance Initiative exclusively dedicated to promotion of women entrepreneurs.
Today’s meeting was held at the Commissioner’s Guest House, Mokokchung where the Nagaland Minister for Forest, Environment & Climate Change Imkong L Imchen and PRO to CM, Pele Khezhie were also in presence.
The Chief Minister also released the Annual Progress Report of MEC as part of the meeting. The Chief Minister is in Mokokchung to grace the Moatsü celebrations tomorrow as chief guest at Imkongmeren Sports Complex, organized by Ao Senden.
