MOKOKCHUNG, MAY 31 (MExN): The World No Tobacco Day was observed in Mokokchung on May 31 under the leadership of Dr. Taliwaba, Sr. Dental Surgeon, District Nodal Officer for NTCP.
The programme was conducted in collaboration with AIR Mokokchung on May 31, raising awareness in billboards at strategic locations like petrol stations and market places around the town.
A detailed awareness about tobacco consumption and its effects relating to COVID-19 was presented by Dr Sentirenla Jamir, Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon, IMDH. It will be broadcasted in Ao dialect on June 1 through AIR as a part of the awareness programme and also to mark the occasion.
