Mokokchung, July 14 (MExN): In supersession of the order dated July 13, the Mokokchung District Administration has again, modified regulations for opening of markets in the district.
In this regard, the Mokokchung Deputy Commissioner issued an order directing markets to be opened on alternate days (Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday) from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm. All categories of shops are to be opened on regular basis on market opening days.
All shops/trade not in the exempted list as per Government order including hotels, restaurants, gyms, salons and beauty parlours will be closed on all days, the order stated.
Further the DC notified that the present exercise of monitoring of compulsory wearing of facemasks in public places and ban on spitting in public places will continue. “Any person or group acting in violation of this order shall be deemed to have committed an offence punishable under section 188 of the Indian Penal Code,” the order stated.
