Kohima, January 30 (MExN): Nagaland’s Member of Legislative Assembly (MLA) Er Picto Shohe has mourned the demise of N Akuto Zhimomi, Retd Additional Secretary & Director on January 27 after a prolonged illness.
Zhimomi of New Shena Village was an enthusiastic and passionate officer who had served the government in different capacities for decades since March 28, 1965, Er Picto said in a condolence message.
The legislator also noted late Zhimomi as a selfless and God fearing person who touched the lives of many as a father and an officer by profession as well as undertook many church related activities.
He further remembered late Zhimomi’s immense contribution towards the society and particularly Atoizu area and said that his demise has created a vacuum in our society, which will be difficult to fill.
However, he called for celebrating his life by remembering his noble contribution he had made to the society and noted that it would be cherished by the generations to come.
“In this hour of grief and sorrow I along with my family convey my deepest condolences to the bereaved family and pray to God to give the strength and courage to bear this irreparable loss,” Er Picto conveyed.
