The Joint Coordination Committee informed that it held a meeting with the Nagaland Tribes Action Committee and resolved that all apex tribe bodies should call their respective MLA’s to withdraw their support to the CM on or before February 17, failing which the tribe bodies would debar those candidates from entering within their jurisdiction in the next election. Furthermore it stated that “despite the utmost effort to restrain the youths and the volunteers are losing patient and in the event of any eventuality the government and the Governor will be held responsible.”
