Mokokchung, October 5 (MExN): All the traders and business community in Mokokchung town are informed that there will be an awareness programme cum mass social work on October 7 on account of Swachh Bharat Mission in Mokokchung.
All the traders under Mokokchung Municipal Council and members of the Mokokchung Chamber of Commerce & Industries (MCCI) are requested to participate in this mass social work on the stated day from 6:00 am to 8:00 am by cleaning the premises of their respective business establishments and shops. Further, it is also informed that the main areas for conducting the mass social work will be Sewak Gate area, Hospital (IMDH) parking lot area, MMC Shopping Complex premises, Police Point, Daily Vegetable Market (Old Town Hall) and Salangtem New Market. The business communities in these locations are therefore requested to participate in cleaning the overall surroundings along with cleaning the premises of their respective shops/establishments.
“Your positive participation and cooperation in this mass social work will go a long way in the furtherance of keeping our town clean as well as conveying the message to the public in general on the importance of cleanliness thereby fulfilling the objective of Swachh Bharat Mission,” informed a joint press release issued by MMC & MCCI.
