Phek, June 16 (DIPR): A mock drill was conducted at Phek Local Ground on June 15, involving the NDRF, SDRF and Community First Responders. It was conducted by the NDRF in collaboration with NSDMA and DDMA.
A scenario of a fire incident and two collapse building was created and the NDRF, SDRF personal and CFRs were involved in search and rescue and first aid. The mock drill was witnessed by school and college students. DC Phek, Kovi Meyase, who is the DDMA chairman, was also present at the scene. He urged upon the gathering to be alert and be prepared for any eventualities.
Similar programme was held on June 13, FAMEx with SDRF & DEF personal at Drill Shed, Police Reserve Phek, and on June 14 Awareness Programme and Table Top exercise for head of offices of the concerned departments at DC Conference Hall.
