KOHIMA, FEBRUARY 24 (MExN): The NCC unit of Modern College conducted a cleanliness drive cum Trekking programme to Mt Pulie Badze on February 21 as part of an environmental initiative.
The programme aimed to promote environmental awareness, instill a sense of social responsibility, and encourage physical fitness among the cadets. A total of 18 cadets participated in the activity.
Upon reaching the trekking route, the cadets collected plastic waste, bottles, wrappers and other non-biodegradable materials scattered along the trail and surrounding areas. The drive contributed to preserving the natural beauty of the area and created awareness among visitors and local residents about responsible waste management.
