Fernbrook School, Wokha, celebrated its Cultural Day 2024 on November 5, under the theme "Modernised Yet Rooted." The event was held at the school campus and witnessed enthusiastic participation from students, teachers, and parents. Hundreds of visitors also attended, exploring the exhibition that showcased the fusion of tradition and modernity.

The day was filled with various cultural exhibitions, including displays of indigenous tools, traditional attire, handlooms, handicrafts, and ornaments. Students actively engaged with visitors, providing explanations about the significance of the items showcased in the exhibition.

Rushamo Tsopoe, the school’s Administrator, shared that the cultural exhibition was organised to educate students about Lotha culture and traditions, while also raising awareness of their cultural roots in an increasingly modernised world. He emphasised the importance of cultural pride and innovation in shaping future generations. Tsopoe also commended the efforts of everyone and we'll wishers involved in ensuring the event’s success.
