Kohima, October 30 (MExN): Reviewing of all the missions undertaken by the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs (MoH&UA) was held with the Joint Secretary (C&NE), Pankaj Kumar and Director (NER&MC), G Ravinder at Hotel Vivor, Kohima on October 30. According to a DIPR report, Principal Secretary, Urban Affairs & Municipal Affairs, Himato Zhimomi stated that the effort of the department came to a standstill due to the COVID-19 pandemic but momentum is slowly picking up now. Presentations by the state officials on the progress of the missions undertaken and the reports of the new and ongoing projects/areas schemes were highlighted for the integrated development of the NE region, followed by field visit of the ongoing projects. The team will visit Wokha and the Doyang hydroelectric project on October 31.
