The Mokokchung District Table Tennis Association (MDTTA) in a press conference held on 19 October atNine-Ten Restro, Mokokchung informed that the 26th Inter-District & State Table-tennis championship will be held from October 23 to 26 at Multi-purpose Sports Complex, Mokokchung.
The championship will be hosted by MDTTA under the aegis of Nagaland Table Tennis Association (NTTA).
Aosunep Ozükum, Convenor, Organizing committee stated that more than 110 players are expected to participate, representing different districts and as many as 50 players are expected to participate in the open category. Twelve districts have confirmed to participate in the upcoming championship with over 110 players. The opening ceremony will be held on October 23 with Imkong L Imchen, MLA & Advisor, Government of Nagaland as the chief patron.
The convenor also informed that a coffee table book will also be released during the opening programme by NTTA.
Twelve districts have confirmed participation in the upcoming championship with over 110 players. Mokokchung, the host District, Longleng, Mon, Kiphire, Phek, Shamator, Zunheboto, Wokha, Kohima, Dimapur, Niuland and Chümoukedima are the twelve confirmed districts.
The trophies, cash prizes and certificates will be sponsored by NTTA, he added.
